Information Privacy, Cultural Values, and Regulatory Preferences

The global nature of e-commerce is complicating privacy issues because perceptions privacy, trust, risk, and fair information practices vary across cultures, differences in national regulation create challenges for management strategies. Despite the spike international regulatory attention devoted to tensions associated with them, there has been very little research on relationship between concerns consumers' preferences, even rarer that incorporates cultural values into a framework includes regulation. This study examines concerns, full complement values, at individual level cohesive manner.
